Hi Folks,
GRML just reached an important operational milestone in Greenland.
Greenland Mines Ltd. (Nasdaq: GRML) announced this morning that drilling has officially commenced at its Skaergaard gold, palladium and platinum project as the company's 2026 field season moves into full operation.
For a development-stage mining story, this is the point where plans begin turning into fieldwork.
And it's why GRML is one to watch right now.
The Rigs Are Turning at Skaergaard
Greenland Mines reports that its support vessel Argus has arrived safely at Skaergaard following its crossing of the Denmark Strait.
Since arriving, the company has:
→ Mobilized equipment, machinery and infrastructure ashore
→ Completed operational safety drills and inductions
→ Assembled and activated its diamond drill rigs
→ Completed initial drone-based LiDAR surveys
→ Identified roughly one-third of planned drill locations
→ Confirmed the Sødalen airstrip is operational
Most importantly:
The drill rigs are now turning.
The first holes of the 2026 program are expected to be completed within days.
That matters because drilling represents the operational core of Greenland Mines' 2026 Skaergaard program.
Why This Field Season Matters
The program isn't simply about putting holes in the ground.
Greenland Mines designed the 2026 field season to generate information that could help:
Further upgrade the Mineral Resource
Advance metallurgical and engineering studies through bulk sampling
Collect environmental, geotechnical and infrastructure data
Move Skaergaard toward an Initial Assessment and its next stage of development
With Argus on site, equipment ashore and drill rigs operating, GRML now expects to execute its field program over the coming two months.
Remember What's Beneath Skaergaard
This is what makes today's development particularly interesting.
Skaergaard is described as one of the world's largest undeveloped palladium, gold and platinum deposits.
The project's disclosed mineral resource contains gold, palladium and platinum with an estimated gross in-situ contained metal value of approximately $68 billion, based on February 2026 metal prices.
Importantly, that $68B figure represents gross in-situ contained metal value. It is not GRML's market capitalization, projected revenue, recoverable value or future profit.
But it does provide perspective on the scale of the mineral system GRML is working to advance.
And now the company is back in the field gathering new data.
The Bigger Critical-Minerals Strategy
Skaergaard is also central to GRML's broader vision for a North Atlantic Critical Metals Corridor connecting Greenland's resources with potential processing, logistics and infrastructure in allied Western jurisdictions.
GRML holds an 80% interest in, and an option to acquire the remaining 20% of, the three mineral exploration licenses covering Skaergaard and adjacent areas.
The project benefits from deep-fjord access and proximity to the Sødalen airstrip, while the company also holds a First Right of Refusal on the Helguvik industrial complex in Iceland—approximately 400 kilometers by sea from Skaergaard.
The strategy is ambitious.
But today's announcement is about something much more tangible:
The equipment is there.
The targets are being marked.
And the drills are turning.
Why GRML Is on My Screen Today
For development-stage resource companies, progress in the field is what investors need to see.
GRML has now transitioned its 2026 Skaergaard program from mobilization into active drilling and data collection.
The first holes are expected within days, with drilling, bulk sampling and additional fieldwork planned as the season progresses.
Of course, GRML remains speculative. Skaergaard is a development-stage project, mineral resources are not mineral reserves, and substantial technical, permitting, financing and development work would still be required before potential commercial production.
But with a mineral system carrying an estimated $68B gross in-situ contained metal value and a major 2026 field program now underway, this is an important stage of the Skaergaard story.
Keep Greenland Mines Ltd. (Nasdaq: GRML) firmly on your trading screen today.
The drills are turning—and now I'll be watching closely for what the 2026 program reveals.
To your success,

Michael Reece
