Hi Folks,

AI’s explosive growth is creating an enormous appetite for one increasingly valuable resource: power.

And my brand-new exclusive alert for Tuesday, September 15 owns a property that could put it directly in the path of that trend.

AquaBounty Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: AQB) has approximately 50 megawatts of available electrical capacity at its Pioneer, Ohio property—along with substantial water access and existing infrastructure.

Now, management is exploring whether those assets could have a much bigger use.

AQB just expanded its strategic review of Pioneer to include power infrastructure, energy development and digital infrastructure opportunities.

Until now, the company had primarily been exploring ways to monetize the property through discussions with parties in the aquaculture industry.

Those discussions remain ongoing.

But management is now looking beyond aquaculture.

And when you examine what already exists at Pioneer, it's easy to understand why.

A 50-Megawatt Power Opportunity

The Pioneer campus possesses a combination of infrastructure assets that could make the property attractive to an entirely different group of potential partners.

According to AquaBounty, the site offers:

• Access to an existing electrical substation with approximately 50 megawatts of available capacity
• Competitively priced electricity
• A permit to withdraw up to 5.25M gallons of groundwater per day
• Infrastructure that could potentially support power generation, energy-intensive industrial applications and data-center development

Those assets have taken on greater significance as the rapid expansion of artificial intelligence and high-performance computing creates enormous demand for power and supporting infrastructure.

In fact, AquaBounty's interim CEO, David Frank, specifically pointed to this trend.

He noted that demand for reliable power infrastructure has accelerated dramatically in recent years, driven in large part by the growth of AI and high-performance computing.

That's a significant point.

AquaBounty is no longer evaluating Pioneer solely through the lens of aquaculture.

Management is now asking a much bigger question:

Could the site's existing power capacity, water resources and infrastructure have greater strategic value in the rapidly expanding energy and digital-infrastructure markets?

The Strategic Review Just Got Much Broader

As part of this expanded process, AquaBounty plans to engage with developers, utilities, independent power producers, infrastructure investors and other strategic partners.

Management says potential transactions could include an outright sale of the property, a joint-development arrangement, a long-term lease or another structure designed to realize the value of the site's infrastructure.

The company may even evaluate opportunities to participate more directly in infrastructure or energy development if management believes it could enhance long-term shareholder value.

That's a considerably broader opportunity set than AquaBounty was pursuing before.

Why AQB Is on My Radar

For me, the story comes down to three things:

50 MW of available electrical capacity.

Up to 5.25M gallons of permitted groundwater withdrawal per day.

And now, an expanded strategic review that specifically includes power and digital infrastructure opportunities at a time when AI is driving enormous demand for both.

That’s why I believe AQB deserves close attention right now.

The company has introduced a potentially important new catalyst into the story, and the market now has another reason to reassess what the Pioneer property could ultimately be worth—and who might be interested in it.

AQB is my brand-new exclusive alert for Tuesday, September 15, and it's one I want on your watch list as this story develops.

To your success,

Michael Reece
